Title: “Corazón de Cactus”
Size: 11" x 14" (3 panels) / Medium: Acrylic on wood panel / Year: 2024
This is one of my favorite art pieces, as it holds a deeply personal meaning. The cactus symbolizes the resilience that flourishes in the most challenging moments, while the hands holding the heart represent love and protection. The hummingbirds, which have a special place in this work, personify my father and my grandmother, who have been my pillars of inspiration throughout my life.
